Industry and Academic Engagement

 The development of phage therapy relies on close collaboration between clinicians, scientists, academic groups and manufacturers. Phage UK recognises the essential contributions of both academia and industry in advancing research, development and the supply of phage products. The current absence of GMP phage manufacturing capacity in the UK further reinforces the need for strong partnerships across healthcare, academic institutions and industry.

Phage UK remains a clinician-led network. We retain independence in our governance, clinical discussions, and policy engagement. We do not preferentially work with or represent any single organisation.

We are open to engagement with academic groups and organisations active in phage development. Any such engagement is undertaken transparently.
